who we are

Building a Responsible Future in Retail Design

At Positive Design, sustainability is integral to everything we do, from material sourcing to resource conservation at every stage of the process. We believe luxury retail spaces should be as responsible as they are beautiful, and that a genuine commitment to people and the planet is itself a mark of distinction. Partnering with us means your brand meets rising consumer expectations for eco-responsibility while reinforcing the trust and credibility that matter most in the upscale market. Let’s create a positive impact for both your brand and the environment.

Certified Wood & Composites

Whenever possible, we use FSC-certified timber and low-emission composites, preserving forests and reducing carbon footprints.

Recycled Metals

We incorporate recycled aluminum or steel components, maintaining high-quality finishes while minimising environmental impact.

Low-VOC Products

From adhesives to paints and lacquers, we opt for low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) alternatives to promote better indoor air quality for shoppers and staff.

Our work

Resource-Efficient Practices

Your sustainability goals are part of our brief from day one. We work with you to align every design decision with your CSR commitments, from integrating energy-efficient lighting and building in modularity for long-term reuse, to identifying responsible pathways for retired fixtures and fittings.

Smart Manufacturing

Our CNC and laser cutting machines are programmed to optimise material usage, significantly reducing off-cuts and waste.

Recycling & Waste Management

Scraps and leftover materials from our fabrication process are sorted and recycled where feasible, reintegrating valuable resources back into the supply chain.
Positive Design's sustainability-based partnership with CleanHub

Our Partnership with CleanHub

We believe our responsibility extends beyond the spaces we create. Since the beginning of 2026, we have partnered with CleanHub, a Berlin-based organisation connecting coastal communities to proper waste collection where it didn't previously exist. Every project we undertake contributes to this commitment, meaning that when you build with us, you play a part in something far greater than the space itself.
